Pakistan wins the ODI by 7 wickets over Sri Lanka. The 3rd ODI to went in to the hands of the Pakistan cricket team yesterday in the UAE against Sri Lanka cricket team. Sri Lanka team won the toss and elected to bat. Things were moving good for the side till 112/3. But the easy wickets made the team to went in to trouble as they were 163/8. Then came Chameera to support T Perera for a 42 runs partnership that marked little shining on the Sri Lanka side. Again the collapse happened and the team was all out for 208 which was a small target for a team like Pakistan.
In his 10 overs Pakistan fast bowler Hassan Ali took 5/34.With this five wicket haul, Hassan Ali became the fastest Pakistani bowler to get 50 wickets in 24 matches leaving behind bowler Waqar Younis, who was the previous quickest in 27 matches .
21-year-old Debutant Imam Ul Haq who plays his cricket wearing spectacle is the nephew of legendary Inzamam Ul Haq. He became the second Pakistani batsman after Saleem Elahi to hit a century on debut.
With Imam-ul-Haq’s 100 in 125 balls and M Hafeez 34 helped the Pakistan team to win the match by 7 wickets with 75 balls to spare. Now the Pakistan had won the ODI series with 3 – 0 win against Sri Lanka team.
