Because of Useless Social Media Post, Girl Get Fired. (Resignation?)

A Brookfield Zoo employee who is resident of Chicago aged, 22, got tons of backlash through the internet when she posted a selfie of herself through her Smartphone from her work place with a controversial caption, and the post went viral and within some minutes she became as an online target through her Facebook account. And eventually the incident lead to her job lose.

she created this post when customers came to her concession stand but ignored her when she tried to speak to them. Because of this she posted how she felt online and on the next day she quit her job, according to her version.

However, Brookfield Zoo claims she was fired after they received numerous complaints from customers about her online remarks. On Tuesday, Brookfield Zoo posted this statement via their Facebook account as “Yesterday, we became aware of the actions of a single employee which we agree are unacceptable. This employee’s statements in social media are in violation of our policies and do not reflect our institution’s values. We have zero tolerance for these kinds of divisive behaviors. We treat all employment matters confidentially but please know that we took prompt action to remedy the situation this morning.
We hope you continue to hold Brookfield Zoo in high regard and not let the actions of one individual overshadow the longstanding good work of the Chicago Zoological Society.”

According to spokesperson of the Brookfield Zoo “the administration took action and fired Robinson once they learned about her online post. But still the girl stand by her resignation action.
